Spring Cleaning Looks a Little Different for Us

For a lot of people, this time of year means opening windows and finally dealing with that closet. There's something about decluttering that brings a real sense of calm and a fresh start.

At Welcome Home Collaborative, spring cleaning means something more. Many of our participants are living in their own space for the very first time, and keeping rooms tidy and shared spaces organized makes a real difference in long-term housing stability.

A clean home creates a sense of predictability, safety, and dignity. And the routine behind maintaining it can do a lot for someone's confidence, pride, and sense of agency.

This spring, with a little help from our cleaning crew, we were able to refresh the houses our participants work so hard to maintain. Check out some of our freshly cleaned spaces:

Our community plays a huge role in making this possible.  If you want to support us, here's what we need most right now:

  • Cleaning supplies (mops, brooms, disinfectants, laundry soap, trash bags)

  • Move-In Ready starter kits for new participants

  • Financial support for our Housing and Life Coaching program

  • Sharing this post, if it resonates with you!

Every bit of support helps someone come home to a space that feels safe and theirs. Happy Spring!
